2026年8月、Chess.com から取得されたとされる数百万件のデータがネット上に公開されました。データは730万行で、460万件の固有のメールアドレスのほか、ユーザー名、氏名、国、Chess.com アカウントに関する情報が含まれていました。分析の結果、データはスクレイピング（公開情報の自動収集）によって集められたものと見られています。HIBP に登録した時点で、メールアドレスの99%は過去の漏洩ですでに確認されていたものでした。

In August 2026, millions of records allegedly sourced from Chess.com were posted online. The data contained 7.3M rows with 4.6M unique email addresses, along with usernames, names, countries and data relating to users' Chess.com accounts. Analysis of the data suggested it had been obtained by scraping.
